Tromsø Villmarkssenter As, located on Kvaløya outside Tromsø, invites you to join our team for a season filled with winter wonders. We’re known for our dogsledding adventures and offer other exciting activities like northern lights visits and snowshoeing.
Who we are looking for?
- We seek individuals who are physically fit and enjoy leading groups outdoors. If you’re comfortable in all weather conditions, possess good communication skills, and have a positive attitude, we’d love to hear from you.
- Good English language skills are required, and knowledge of additional languages and first aid training are bonuses.
- A love for dogs is essential!
What’s in store?
Imagine setting out from our kennel on daily snowshoe hikes, exploring the surrounding area alongside our Alaskan huskies. Our season runs from December to May (weather permitting), offering a unique way to experience the winter wilderness.

Your mission is to deliver exceptional experiences to our guests, leaving them with cherished memories even if the northern lights don’t appear.

- Strong language skills in multiple languages, with excellent English proficiency as a minimum.
- A genuine passion for sharing knowledge about the Aurora and its cultural significance.
- Willingness to assist with various activities as needed.
- Comfort working outdoors in Arctic winter conditions.
