Your visit begins in the dog yard, where you’ll witness the excitement as the sled dogs prepare for their daily tours and learn about life with Alaskan huskies. Enjoy a guided walk through the kennel, meeting the dogs and hearing stories about racing, training, and everyday life at Tromsø Villmarkssenter.

Spend free time cuddling the dogs, taking photos, and soaking up the atmosphere of a working sled dog kennel. Visit our teenage puppies and meet the future stars of the dog yard.

Top your experience by gathering around the campfire and enjoy a traditional Norwegian outdoor experience with grilled hot dogs, coffee, tea, and homemade cake. If conditions are right and darkness has fallen, you may even catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights above the kennel.
