About Sombre
Say hello to Sombre! Born in 2017, this good boy spent years pulling sleds and is now ready to trade the harness for a cozy spot on the couch — well, at least part-time. He’s a genuinely happy guy with a friendly, easygoing nature, and he’s already lived indoors more than once, so he knows exactly how to be a proper house dog: calm, well-behaved, and easy to have around. He’s also great with children, making him a lovely fit for families as well as individuals.
Sombre would love to be your one and only. He shines brightest as the sole dog in a household, soaking up all the love and attention without needing to share the spotlight. He gets on great with female dogs, but he tends to do best without another male dog in the home, so a household with a female dog (or no other dog at all) would suit him perfectly.
A Big Softie With Energy to Spare
Give this boy a belly rub and you’ll have a friend for life. Sombre is affectionate to his core and lives for human company. But don’t let the cuddles fool you — he’s also got the drive and stamina of a true Alaskan husky, ready to tag along for:

- Skiing
- Cycling
And when the adventure’s done? He’s just as happy flopping down on the carpet for a well-earned nap. Active or chill, Sombre rolls with it.
